ECONYL
ECONYL® is a fiber made from recycled plastic nylon waste that discards fishing nets. It is produced by collecting waste from the sea as fishing nets, cleaning it of any impurities and then spinning it back into regenerated nylon. The unique process means that the new fiber is as strong and light as virgin nylon material. It can be repeated over and over, endlessly, closing the gap in order to use new resources in production.

In addition to being a high quality solution for waste, ECONYL® regenerated nylon is also better when it comes to climate change. This reduces nylon emissions by up to 80% compared to producing the material from oil. Every 10,000 tonnes of ECONYL® produced saves 70,000 barrels of crude oil from being used and avoids 57,100 tonnes of carbon emissions being spewed into the atmosphere.
